Updated September 26, 2026
Submissions and registration are temporarily closed
The previous festival’s paid registration and film-submission offers are closed. We will announce the next submission window, venue, schedule, fees and complete rules once they are confirmed. The name Film Faster 48 does not require a film to be produced in 48 hours; previously completed short films may be considered under the next published rules.
Until an official announcement is made, please disregard old deadlines and promotional pages that may still appear in search results or third-party listings.
Already purchased tickets or submitted a film?
Keep your original order confirmation, submission receipt or transaction number. Email support@filmfaster48.com with your name, the purchase or submission platform (our website, Eventbrite or FilmFreeway), and your reference number. Please do not email credit-card numbers or identity documents.
We will review existing registrations and respond with event-specific next steps. Refund requests are reviewed under the original transaction terms, the relevant platform’s rules and applicable law. If you purchased through Eventbrite, use its Request a refund option where available or contact our support team; Eventbrite has specific requirements for postponed and cancelled events (see https://www.eventbrite.com/help/en-us/articles/990713/). This notice does not alter previously agreed rights or waive any statutory rights.
Rules, film rights and prizes
The rules and awards for the next festival are under review and will be published before new submissions are accepted. No new prize, feature-film credit, equity participation, screening or distribution opportunity should be treated as guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in the applicable official terms. Filmmakers’ rights and any applicable screening or promotional licenses are governed by the specific submission agreement they accepted. If you need a copy or clarification of your existing agreement, contact our support team.
